Curbside Fresh is back for a Third Year!

Curbside Fresh Market will once again be in select communities this summer. The mobile market delivers affordable, fresh, local produce to low-income, high-density communities throughout Vancouver.

In past years, Curbside Fresh has been a great success, according to the market operator, Brian Coe. In just one afternoon last summer, the market sold over 30 dozen cobs of corn in just four hours.

The Curbside Fresh team will again be working with local community partners across five locations to deliver the weekly, affordable produce.

At each location, customers can buy a selection of fresh produce, including locally-sourced and in-season fruits and veggies, such as corn, mini cucumbers, blueberries, apples, pears, plums, peaches, nectarines and some organic produce.

The first market will be at the Collingwood Days Festival, a free community event, on May 28.  The Festival is from 9:00am to 4:00pm at Sir Guy Carlton Elementary School at 3250 Kingsway.

Look for Brian in the following communities on these days starting in mid-June:

Tuesdays: Gordon Neighbourhood House from 3:00pm to 6:00pm

Wednesdays: South Granville Seniors Centre from 11:00am to 2:00pm
